Leaf drop or an unhealthy appearance is usually your plant’s way of signaling stress—but don’t worry, most issues can be fixed with a few simple checks.

Here’s what to do:

  1. Check your watering routine:

    • Yellow, mushy leaves often mean overwatering.

    • Dry, crispy leaves usually mean underwatering.

      Adjust accordingly.

  2. Assess the light conditions:

    • Too little light can cause leaf drop and leggy growth.

    • Too much direct sun can scorch leaves.

      Move your plant if needed.

  3. Inspect for pests:

Look under leaves and along stems for spots, webbing, or tiny insects. Treat quickly if you see anything.

  4. Review the environment:

    • Sudden temperature changes

    • Strong air-conditioning

    • Low humidity

      These can all stress plants.

  5. Check the pot and soil:

If roots are coming out of the bottom, or the soil stays soggy for too long, it might be time to repot.

  6. Trim damaged areas:

Remove dead or unhealthy leaves so the plant can focus energy on new growth.

If you address these factors early, most plants bounce back beautifully. Let me know if you need plant-specific troubleshooting!
